About Cupivec

We help people find where they fit.

Cupivec builds matching software that sees people as more than a list of keywords, and treats every match as a responsibility to the person behind it.

The name

Cupid + Vector.

Our name brings together the two ideas behind everything we build: connection, and precision.

Cupid

Bringing the right parties together: a person and the role, team or place where they belong.

Vector

Representing a person across many dimensions, from skills and experience to work style and logistics, so fit can be measured precisely.

Cupivec

Precise, explainable matching that helps people find the right place, and leaves the decision with humans.

Our mission

Make every placement a better fit, whether it's a job, a team, a city or a program, with reasons that both the person and the organization can see.

The problem

Most matching today is keyword filters, gut feeling or opaque scores. People who would fit well get missed, decisions are hard to explain, and the people being matched rarely learn why. Practical factors like location, schedule and team style tend to come up too late to matter.

Our approach

We represent people as structured, multi-dimensional profiles built from consented data. We compare them against criteria our customers define and explain every result dimension by dimension. Then we step aside so that people make the final decision.

Values

The principles we won't trade away.

01

Explainable by default

If we can't show why two things fit, we don't call it a match.

02

Your criteria, not ours

You define what fit means in your context. We don't impose a hidden standard.

03

Consent and privacy first

Data is used only with permission, only for its stated purpose, and never more than needed.

04

Humans decide

Software can surface likely fits and show the evidence. People make the final call.

How we build

Responsible matching is a design choice.

These commitments shape our product decisions, from the data model all the way to the words we use.

  • Fit, not judgment

We describe how well a person and an opportunity line up on specific dimensions. We never assign anyone an overall worth.

  • Transparent to everyone involved

The people being matched deserve the same explanation that reviewers see. We design for both audiences.

  • Privacy as an engineering constraint

Consent, minimization and deletion are part of the data model itself, not settings added on afterwards.

Building something where fit matters?

We'd like to hear about it. Tell us who you're matching, what good fit looks like for you, and where things break today.
